Pork Coppa

This is the spicy pork recipe you always see at KBBQ joints. Hell yeah brother.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rice vinegar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup sake
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped peeled fresh ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • tablespoon canola oil
  • 1/2 cup korean chili paste
  • 1 (2 pound) pork coppa roast cut into 1/4 inch slices

Instructions

In a blender or a bowl or food processor, whirl together the vinegar, sugar, sake, ginger, garlic, oil, and salt until smooth. Transfer into a medium mixing bowl and whisk in the chili paste until smooth. Add the pork slices, mixing that shit together REAL GOOD. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.

On a grill, cook at 400 degrees F (mediumish). Grill on each side.

In a pan, do the same fookin thing. Char it a bit!
