German Onion Chicken

  • 2 large onions
  • 3 chicken breasts or thighs
  • 470 ml (2 cups) beef broth
  • 100 g (1 cup) Swiss cheese or any
  • 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil, divided
  • 2 tbs all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp dried sage
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown onions
  2. Remove Onions and place in bowl
  3. Cube Chicken, combine with sage, thyme, a tsp of olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Brown Chicken
  5. Remove Chicken Chicken
  6. Combine remaining ingredients with chicken, cook until cheese evenly coats
